In Belarus, an increasing number of those who leave to live retired in the United States, Israel and the EU

In Belarus, a growing number of those who receive pensions at home, but living abroad. On 1 October there were 7788 such pensioners. It follows from the data of SPF. Informed 6937 people. Among the countries that list the pensions of the Belarusians, Israel, USA, Russia, Vietnam, Ukraine, and some European — Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland. As of early October this year the pensions received 27 787 foreigners from Azerbaijan, Latvia, Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania and Poland. The previous year’s 26 367 people. These foreigners live in our country.

Pensions Belarusians who live outside of our country are charged for the agreements with other States. For example, Belarus has signed bilateral agreements with Ukraine, Moldova and Tajikistan, for which pension provision of the citizens of these States occurs according to the legislation of the country in which they live.

Recall, from October 1 began to operate the contract on provision of pensions between Czech Republic and Belarus.

How much money the government plans to pay pensions to foreigners, and I pay?

For 2019 in the SPF budget for the payment of pensions and benefits to the Belarusians who went abroad and who arrived in our country to foreigners under international treaties planned nearly 103 million rubles. For the first half paid out of 48.2 million rubles.

In 2018, this sum was planned at the level of 92,1 million rubles, and in fact was paid 87.9 million rubles. For all of 2017, this amounted to 81 million rubles (in terms of 81,6 million). The main part of the pensions paid to those who arrived from Russia.
