In Bashkiria began to operate the “dry law” established by the regional deputies for the new year holidays. As follows from the text of the law, January 3 in the Republic is completely forbidden to sell alcohol, and in the Christmas holidays, from 4 to 6 January, to sell alcohol-based drinks will only be from 10 to 14 hours.
As explained by the Chairman of the Kurultay of the Republic Konstantin Tolkachev, deputies analyzed the data and found that the peak of alcohol poisoning during the holidays, falls on January 3.
“It’s not so much a surrogate product as excessive use. This explains the ban on the sale of alcohol that is 3 numbers. In the days that followed statistics shows the increase in the number of alcoholic psychosis, suicides and murders. A preventive measure would be restricting the sale of alcohol January 4-6, up to four hours a day”, — quotes the speaker of the press service of the regional branch of “United Russia”.
Note that the new “dry law” in Bashkortostan, a new feature in the current Dec. Six months before the deputies were forbidden to sell alcohol from 22 to 10 p.m. local time, and the day of Sabantuy, the day of the last call in the day of youth and 1 September, the knowledge day.
