Authorities are trying to reduce the excessive load experienced by the popular tourist places in particular – market “Boqueria”.
The government of Barcelona has presented a new set of measures designed to limit the tourists to the market “La Boqueria”.
For a start, the government of Barcelona will impose a ban on the use of products in the market, including right in front of the shelves, believing that this will improve the cleanliness of the market and frees the passages from the many yawn.
All products available on the market, pack and seal, and the amount of fresh produce will be minimized. In addition, the market will cease to let tourist groups of 15 persons or more.
The veto will operate on Fridays and Saturdays from April to October, at that time, as now this rule is valid only in the morning these days. The new rules will be introduced before the Holy week.
