In Azerbaijan, an earthquake of magnitude 5.7. This was reported by the press service of the Republican center of Seismological Service of ANAS.
“The intensity of the tremors in the epicenter of the earthquake was 6 points in the nearest towns – 3-5 points”, – stated in the message.
The epicenter was near the city of Barda, which is located 275 km South of Baku.
The focus lies at a depth of 25 kilometers. Tremors were recorded at 23:48:01.
However, users of social networks say that the earthquake was felt in Baku and other cities of the country. More: tremors felt and residents of neighboring Armenia and Georgia.
