In connection with the tense situation in Avdeevka of Donetsk region, the city has sent a special unit of the regional police CORD.
This was announced by the head of the regional police Vyacheslav Abroskin on his page in Facebook on Sunday, February 26.
“The militants do not stop shelling the town again without electricity. Today once again reinforced for duty was sent to the plant, a special unit of the Central Directorate of the police of the Donetsk region. Tasks – provide assistance to civilians and, if necessary, to do everything for their salvation, and the rule of law in the city,” – said Abroskin.
As noted in the police division provided armored vehicles – if necessary it will be used for the evacuation of people from under artillery fire.
