Today, may 4, at Amsterdam airport was detained a citizen of Russia after the detection of live snakes, frogs, cockroaches and lizards in his Luggage.
According to the newspaper, the man was carrying animals in plastic boxes in his backpack, which violates the legislation on the protection of animals.
Many of the discovered animals are poisonous. It is reported that the man was flying from Brazil to Russia with a stopover at Schiphol airport. At the moment all the animals were seized and handed over to the experts.
Authorities have not yet made a decision about the further destiny of the Russian.
