As of Friday evening, 23 000 people were left without power.
In South Albania the continuous rains led to heavy flooding, several rivers overflowed, some regions conducted the evacuation of residents.
The Ministry of defence of Albania reported that in the last days evacuated more than 100 families living near the river Vjosa, about 120 km South-West of the capital Tirana.
For the last three days as a result of heavy rain one person was killed and three were injured.
According to local authorities, flooded 3334 households, 3076 hectares of farmland as of Friday evening 23,000 people were left without power.
Prime Minister EDI Rama said that 6,400 of the emergency services, police and military help to cope with the “very critical situation”.
