In the Northern province of Afghanistan Dzhauzdan militants kidnapped 52 farmer, when they went out for field work.
Most of the kidnapped were ethnic Uzbeks.
Local elders and the police suspected prestuplenii “Taliban”, which is the strongest group in the province and controls a significant part of it.
Now law enforcement officers are trying to negotiate with members of the Taliban to release the kidnapped people.
If the negotiations do not lead to the return of stolen, the security forces begin a military operation to release them.
