“For the successful functioning of any economy requires a wide network of quality roads and transport infrastructure. Combining different regions, carrying out transport of goods and passengers, motorists and road workers provide basic economic processes, which are indispensable for further advancement of any national economy” , – said Groisman.
According to him, in view of the introduction of sector reforms and restructuring in many sectors of the economy and society, the requirements of the road transport industry grow. For the further development and positive change it is necessary to change the transport infrastructure to modernize the system of freight and passenger transport. Realizing this, the government is considering the overhaul and construction of roads as one of the priorities in the short and medium term.
“That is why in the draft budget for next year has allocated more than 40 billion hryvnias for the repair and construction of roads. I am sure that in a few years the results of this work will be visible to every Ukrainian,” – said the Prime Minister.
On the occasion of the professional holiday, he wished all the workers of motor transport and road economy of good health and material prosperity.
