In 2017 will be the first flexible smartphone from Samsung

Samsung is going to bring a prototype of a flexible phone on the MWC 2017 at the end of February.

Samsung plans to begin small-scale Assembly of a first flexible smartphone in the fourth quarter of 2017.

According to sources among the suppliers, Samsung has already started production of components for the new gadget.

However, the output of gadget on the market will happen only in 2018. Until Samsung can get a special flexible plastic (polyimide-based plastic) good quality.

According to rumors, Samsung is going to bring a prototype of a flexible phone on the MWC 2017 at the end of February to hear an evaluation of the product by independent experts prior to mass production. While it is known that the smartphone will feature a flexible AMOLED display.

Thus, it seems that Samsung will become the first company to bring this model to the real market, ahead of Apple, Microsoft and LG.
