According to a study by the organization for economic cooperation and development (OECD) on trade in counterfeit and fake devices implemented every fifth smartphone in the world is fake.
The OECD notes that among the fake goods often meet charger, memory cards and adapters, laptops, tablets, remote controls and much more. The main source of fake equipment is considered to be China.

According to published data, in 2013 on the fake devices accounted for about 6.5% of all world trade. This figure exceeded the figure of fake equipment recorded in 2016 is 2.5%.
Statistics is that about 43% of seized counterfeit goods violated intellectual property rights of American manufacturers. Behind them is the Finnish company – about 25%, and third place went to Japanese manufacturers – 12%.
