In the scenario modeled 76 situations that describe ordinary events in the lives of people who are forced because of war to leave their homes and start a new life in foreign cities. To develop it also helped the real immigrants who are faced with the complexities of this status.
“The aim of this social game – step by step to show the path of the migrant from the moment the decision about moving and crossing checkpoints, the processing of payments, payment of utilities and obtaining lost documents and until one has fully adapted to life in the new environment. Thus, it is possible to tell available to the wide public in our country about the difficulties of immigrants, they face daily, and to draw attention to the violation of the rights and problems of integration of this category of citizens of Ukraine”, – explains the idea of the game is the coordinator of the project Olga Ivanova.
The game is a classic RPG with a field, dice and chips and is designed for 3-5 people. The game lasts 60-90 minutes.
“We offer players to reincarnate in an internally-displaced person and try to go all the way, which is well known to every settler. Take turns to throw the dice and move chips to the number of moves that are coming. Read the description of the situation and further guidance to action. If you do not have the strength to move forward, You can always return to live on the uncontrolled territory,” the creators describe the essence of the Ira.
Artist, author of drawings of the game Olga Gordienko told what the situation is in the game moved her the most. She’s at number 89 on the playing field.
