IKEA can become a tenant of the country’s largest shopping center.
Swedish chain stores of furniture and home goods, IKEA is going to enter the Ukrainian market.
Reported in comments to the Agency Interfax-Ukraine the head of the Board PJSC Obolon Alexander Chernitsky.
According to him, IKEA can become a tenant of the country’s largest shopping and entertainment centre of the southern area of 450 thousand square meters, the construction of which is scheduled for the end of 2017 in the Goloseevsky district of Kiev.
“In addition, IKEA is looking in our direction. Their intentions already announced, the representatives visited met. That is, there is a high probability of their coming,” said Chernitsky, adding that tenants of the new shopping center will become and other international operators, “which in Ukraine all have been waiting for”.
As reported with reference to the head of the Board of PJSC Obolon Oleksandr Chernitsky, businessman Vagif Aliyev bought the rights to the land with the Ice stadium Glushkova, 9 in the Goloseevsky district of Kiev for the construction of Ukraine’s largest shopping center with a sports complex.
Aliyev is an investor and owner of a number of such Metropolitan Mall, Lavina Mall, Blockbuster Mall, Ocean Mall.
