Hyundai will please fans of electric cars

The Korean automaker is planning to add to their collection with three new models.

Hyundai will introduce three new electric models in the next five years. About it reports a press-service of the company.

In the first half of next year, Hyundai will be an electric a modification of the compact crossover Kona, presented in the summer of 2017. Stock battery is novelty enough to travel without recharging up to 390 kilometres.

In 2021, the manufacturer will release a luxury electric car, which will be part of a premium line of Genesis. In addition, in the same year, the company will be “long-range” eco-car, the power reserve, which should exceed 500 kilometers.

Plus, Hyundai is going to develop a completely new car platform, designed exclusively for machines with fully electric propulsion systems. On this chassis it will be possible to build models of different sizes and power units of various capacities.

Ioniq is equipped with lithium-ion batteries and an electric motor that develops 120 HP and 295 Nm of torque. Top speed is 165 km/h and cruising range is 250 miles.
