The design of the new notebook Huawei MateBook D (2018) has not changed. The device is made in a slim metal body, its thickness is only 16.9 mm. 15.6-inch display with Full HD resolution ensures viewing angles of 178 degrees and a maximum brightness of 350 nits.
The device is equipped with Intel 8th-generation (Core i5-8250U or Core i7-8550U) and RAM 8 GB. Modification with a chip Core i5-8250U may contain solid-state drive capacity of 256 GB or disk subsystem with SSD 128 GB and HDD 1TB.
For the version with CPU Core i7-8550U only available second configuration of the disk subsystem. Another innovation in Huawei MateBook D (2018) was the use of a discrete graphics card NVIDIA NVIDIA 940MX MX150 instead of the previous model. The battery capacity of 43.3 WH provides up to 10 hours of battery life.
The laptop available a panoramic sound system Dolby, two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 2.0 port, HDMI video output. The operating system is offered pre-installed Microsoft Windows 10.

Laptop Huawei MateBook D (2018) is now available for purchase in China for about $791 for the version with Intel Core i5-8250U and SSD on 256 GB, and $837 for the modification with a Core i5-8250U and 128GB SSD + 1TB HDD, $1020 for the high-end configuration with Core i7-8550U and 128GB SSD + 1TB HDD.
