Chinese company Huawei has announced a compact panoramic camera, the leading survey in the format of virtual reality (VR). The novelty has received the name of Huawei Honor VR Camera.
A miniature device developed by Huawei in conjunction with the company Insta360 attached to the smartphone. The camera has a viewing angle of 360 degrees and supports the recording of media content with a resolution of 3K. Movies can be saved and transferred to other users in the mobile app, created Insta360. Also, the gadget will allow to broadcast in real-time.
More detailed specifications of Huawei Honor VR Camera were not disclosed. In addition, neither the release date nor the price of the product. However, the manufacturer claims that the camera will be sold at the international level. Likely detailed information about this new product will be unveiled at the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona.
Huawei Honor VR Camera works in tandem with smartphones. There is no information on what handsets will be compatible camera. It is worth noting that the competing Samsung Gear 360, recording 4K video and connect to the Samsung phones worth $350.
