Pass preventive examinations
A lot of eyesight diseases for example, glaucoma, a long time can pass without symptoms to manifest at stages when treatment is much more complicated.
Eat right
You’ve probably heard about the benefits of carrots for the eyes. But not just carrots – diet rich in fruits and vegetables will help you to maintain healthy eyesight longer. Eat fish that rich in omega-3.
Watch your weight
Overweight or obesity increases the risks of diabetes and other chronic diseases, which in turn can lead to eye diseases and vision loss.
Don’t forget about sunglasses
They will protect your eyes from UV rays. When choosing glasses, be sure to pay attention to the quality of the optical system. On the lenses should be marked, which indicates the level of protection of eyes from UV rays.
Don’t smoke
Smoking is harmful for your eyes and for the whole body. It contributes to the development of cataracts or damage the optic nerve, which can lead to vision loss.
Rest your eyes
