Adopted in Ukraine healthcare reform will allow doctors to earn much more than now, but also threatens the loss of a job for Amateurs.
The Ministry of health explained that the income of doctors will depend on the number of patients.
“Gradually, primary care physicians will forget the word “salary”, and will operate the word “income”, which will depend on the number of patients the doctor. They will also see some changes, such as the freedom of choice of employment and the termination of the status of state employees”, – explained the Deputy head of the Ministry of health Pavlo Kovtonyuk at a press conference to explain the reform.
After the start of health reform physicians for each patient will receive 370 hryvnias from the state, and for children and pensioners – twice.
However, this situation can lead to the fact that many doctors will remain without work because of their unprofessional actions.
“The downsizing will depend on how the doctor treats you and if he has any patients. I think that the network of medical institutions and doctors will be optimized. But all of this will happen smoothly. We have one and a half times more doctors than in neighbouring countries. We can therefore expect that some of the doctors will be optimized”, – the expert madrepore Olga Stefanyshyna.
The expert is sure that in the fight for the patient’s doctors are not attributed to diseases that the person does not, as they will be responsible for ensuring that the patient was able free to pass tests or to pass the examination.
