Holodnitsky told about the case of the odious Chaus

Chaus once again asked the Moldovan authorities for political asylum.

The decision of the extradition judge Nicholas Chaus from Moldova to Ukraine should make the country’s President Igor Dodon.

This was stated by the head of the Specialized anti-corruption prosecutors Nazar Golodnitsky in the program of TV channel “1+1”.

All the necessary documents for the return of the controversial judges, the Ukrainian side has already sent to Moldova. This question is now under consideration.

Meanwhile, Nicholas Chaus once again asked the Moldovan authorities for political asylum.

In the framework of international legal assistance, we have all the necessary documents Moldova has provided for his extradition. At the same time, he (Chaus) asked for political asylum. The question is considered, until the decision of the President of the Republic for extradition, or not to grant him political asylum – said Nazar Golodnitsky.

Head of SAP said that the Ukrainian side could not affect Moldova. The only thing that can make the anti-corruption prosecutors request to expedite consideration of the petition of ex-judge Nicholas Chaus to grant him political asylum.
