High-speed Express train Kiev-Borispol set a record

Kyiv Boryspil Express did 7788 thousands of flights.

High-speed Express, plying between Kiev and the International airport “Borispol” on Monday, April 22, was used a record number of passengers – 2504. In an average day Express carries about 2000 passengers.

In total as of 23 APR Kyiv Boryspil Express did 7788 thousands of flights, and it was chosen almost 270 thousand passengers. The most popular train enjoys Friday and Wednesday.

According to the press service, the popularity of Boryspil Express is constantly growing. If in previous months it was carrying an average of 50 thousand passengers, over the last month, the train took 70 thousand passengers.

Now between Kiev and airport “Borispol” 5 runs diesel trains produced by the Polish company REA. In addition, Ukrzaliznytsia completes the modernization of the sixth, which will be released soon on the route. Also before the end of the year it is planned to purchase diesel train domestic production that uses this message.

Flights between Kyiv and International airport “Borispol” Ukrzaliznytsia opened on 30 November 2018. Express operates 24/7 and provides 27 flights daily.
