Hide-and-seek with a child killer – new trailer of the series “Alienist”

A new trailer of the series “Alienist” (The Alienist)…and also stills, poster and premiere date, if it comes to that.

The date, however, we learned before. The wait is not long on the channel TNT, and digital services premiere the first episode will take place on 22 January 2018. Less than two months – quite bearable. Especially if you remember that novel by writer Caleb Carr, on the basis of which created this show, waiting for the film adaptation more than twenty years.

Recall, what the hell is this story:

At the end of the XIX century, in 1896, new York shocking series of brutal murders in urban slums kill children, each time getting more and more sophisticated — like marks of some bloody ritual. In the end, police Commissioner Theodore Roosevelt attracted to the investigation of alienist Laszlo kreizer and crime reporter John Moore, hoping with the help of their innovative methods to track down the elusive serial killer.

The producers and writers – Cary Fukunaga (“True detective”). In directing team of such people as Jacob Verbruggen (“Collapse”, “Black mirror”) and David Petrarca (“True blood,” “Hemlock grove”). The ensemble cast is impressive: Daniel brühl (“Inglourious Basterds”, “the Race”), Dakota fanning (“war of the worlds”, “24 hours”), Luke Evans (“the Raven”, “the Girl on the train”), Ted Levine (“silence of the lambs”, “shutter Island”)… well, wait! Moreover, the new trailer is very cool.
