He draws skulls and bones – a striking work of artist David Lozeau

In the glorious city of San Diego living artist David Lozeau, an active member of Spanish Village Art Center, a lot of time arranging exhibitions in different galleries, selling their works via its own website. And he works a lot, even though most are the images of one and the same – skeletons, skulls, bones. Moreover, these figures have sometimes completely different mood – they look like simple cartoons, where some are giving the primordial darkness, and many like drawings from a comic book.

From David Lozeau has a few thematic series: the Day of Death, Military, Western, Samurai, and others. What unites them all by the style of their author – the theme of memento mori, reminders to us, the living, the inevitability of death.
