In social networks ridiculed the statement of the head of the faction “Fair Russia” in the state Duma Sergei Mironov that the answer to the decision of the new U.S. law on sanctions and the tightening of the sanctions regime with the EU should be a ban on the importation of alcohol.
According to Mironov, since even the Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev has called the recent actions of the US authorities starting a “full-fledged trade war”, and need to behave as in war.
“Alcohol — the same products of the agricultural sector, like cheese or apples. Why they made the break? Why we support our growers, but refuse to help the Russian winemakers?” — said Mironov.
According to him, there is nothing wrong that the ban could hit the lovers of quality gin and whiskey.
“Maybe it’s a good excuse to drink, save the family budget and to maintain health”, — said Mironov.
He also urged a ban on the import of Russian import of cosmetic products and household chemicals, to eliminate the foreign exchange reserves of Russia US Treasury bonds and to abandon the use of the computers in government agencies and enterprises Microsoft software.
