In his quest to unite the community of PC gamers and the Xbox, Microsoft has decided to release on personal computers one of the major console exclusives – Halo. The day before the software giant announced that a set of shooters Halo: The Master Chief Collection will appear on PC this year. Moreover, it will be available not only in retail Microsoft store, but in the service Steam.
Bundle Halo: The Master Chief Collection includes projects Halo: Reach, Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST and Halo 4. In this order they will be available to PC gamers, each sold separately. The only game missing in the list is Halo 5: Guardians, released in October 2015 on Xbox One.
On adapting the above mentioned shooters for personal computers and working Studio of 343 Industries, Splash Damage and Ruffian Games. Declares full support for keyboard and mouse, ultrawide and 4K monitors, high dynamic range (HDR), as well as 60 frames per second.
