Halle berry will star in the remake of “Drops”?

That famous film of the BLOB (The Blob) 1988 model year will get a new character, we’ve heard for a long time. The last time about this, it is safe to say Samuel L. Jackson, who planned to play there a leading role. A couple of months ago, the actor reiterated those plans, even said that will star in “the Drop” right after the recent “Kong”, however, the Cannes film market was closed, but the film is not a word.

And here is a rather unexpected information surfaced on the website of the distribution company Swen Group — the caste of new “Drops” they were given Halle berry. No official statements on this subject is not whether the owner of “Oscar” will take part in the filming of the remake, or at least leads on this occasion negotiations — we don’t know.

Interestingly, the Director of the project’s still listed as Simon West (not a good Director, but for con Air, thank you), but Samuel L. Jackson in the caste of the website Swen Group is not mentioned.

In short, the rumors-rumors-rumors… And if you think about whether you need this remake? It seems that the picture of Chuck Russell’s 1988 and now looks quite decent. She, by the way, not very clearly perceived, she, too, was a remake of another movie, but for special effects and then praise, and eventually “Drop” has become a classic. And maybe it would make sense to expand, complicate, and just to revive this story, but under the direction of Simon West? Seriously?

Anyway, let’s wait for some news about this project.
