Popular game GTA V from Rockstar has turned into a post-apocalyptic wasteland. For the authorship is the same person, who had previously released many other popular video game GTA V. for Example, the roller of Los Santos Vice, in which he tried to recreate the setting of other games in the series – GTA: Vice City.
A new video called the Cold & The Dead: Episode 1 – Aftermath (“Cold and dead: Consequences”), and generally reminiscent of the game DayZ about survival in a world filled with zombies. Video appeared on the YouTube channel AbsolutePab, created using the editor Rockstar Editor. The author is going to continue the story in next episodes. According to him, history is a pure visual journey, as the author has no money to hire voice actors to make a movie.
In the video, the author has embodied his vision of a bleak post-apocalyptic wasteland on the engine GTA V. According to the author, he was extremely nice to experiment with the apocalyptic environment and the scenery. He also believes that “the company Rockstar could release DLC with a modified setting for the story campaign of the game.”
To achieve this sequence, the author had to install to play a lot of mods, full list of which can be seen in the description of the video. Among the main sources of inspiration the author of the video mentioned “the Road” in 2009 by the famous writer Cormac McCarthy (Cormac McCarthy). The film received many awards, many critics considered the picture one of the most realistic statements in the post-apocalyptic genre.
