In Parliament during voting for important legislation is often empty.
Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman said that some political forces in the Verkhovna Rada artificially delay the consideration of amendments to judicial reform in order not to block consideration of the pension reform.
He said this at a government meeting on Wednesday.
“Tomorrow is the last full session day this week, and I’m getting signals that there is an artificial delay by some political forces, judicial reform to make impossible the adoption of pension reform. Think about it, please! To artificially prolong the work of Parliament to the Ukrainian pensioners are unable to receive increased pensions in October,” – said Groisman.
He believes that such action is a crime against the Ukrainian pensioners.
However, Ukraine counts on the support of the Verkhovna Rada of the pension reform on September 21.
Recall that bill No. 6614 “On amendments to some legislative acts of Ukraine regarding the improvement of pensions” in the first reading was adopted on 13 July. This project provides for raising the necessary insurance length of service for retirement to 25 years in 2018, in 2028 it will have to be 35 years.
