Groysman denied the increase in gas prices

“This in no way corresponds to reality. This is an absolute lie.”

Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman denied the government’s intention to raise the price of gas from 1 October.

“I heard information that the government plans to raise the price of gas is up to 8,5 thousand UAH. I want to emphasize that this in no way corresponds to reality. This is an absolute lie,” – quoted Prime Minister’s press service of the Cabinet.

About the coming increase in rates last week, said the leader of “Batkivshchyna” Yulia Tymoshenko.

Recall that the current prices for natural gas for population and CTV operate from may 2016.

From April 1 the national Commission, which regulates energy and utilities, planned to change the method of calculating the rate that would increase gas prices for the population. However, later the decision was postponed for further consideration.
