Google from 30 June will no longer support Android OS version 2.1 Eclair and older versions.
Smartphone users that have installed this Android version will no longer be able to download the official app.
“Since the release of Android 2.1 Eclair was seven years old. Most developers no longer support this version of Android in their applications, because these devices have a small number of downloadable programs,” – said in Google.
The changes will take effect without prior notification.
