Google in the autumn will show a new smartphone

Became known details about the new smartphone from Google.

In the service database Geekbench showed the results of testing Google Taimen.

Test data show that the device will be equipped with OCTA-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and 4GB of RAM.

In the single core test, the device scored 1804 points, and in multi-core — 6248 points. Reporters noted that this is somewhat less than would be expected from a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 835, which is already installed, for example, on a smartphone OnePlus 5. Chinese flagship scored in the test in 1963 and 6687 points, respectively. Thus, it is likely that the gadget is equipped with a processor Snapdragon 653.

Also Geekbench confirmed the presence of 4 GB of RAM and operating system Android O while under preview for developers. While Google Taimen is the only smartphone equipped with the operating system.

It is unknown whether there will be Google Taimen under his title, or will be referred to as Pixel. It is expected that the premiere of three new gadgets line Pixel with code names like Taimen, Walleye and Muskie should be held in October this year.
