Google Chrome appears the built-in ad blocker

Google do not give comments.

According to The Wall Street Journal, Google intends to implement in the mobile and desktop version of Chrome browser ad blocker. For a company that earns on advertising, this step is quite unexpected. The function will be active by default, but user can disable it. Its announcement may take place in the coming weeks, the newspaper writes.

The blocker will be engaged in defined — annoying — types of advertising. We are talking about pop-UPS, banners, video ads with AutoPlay advertising that is downloaded over the content on the website. The WSJ sources noted that the new “feature” in Chrome may not appear in Google has not yet taken her final decision.

One of the features of the blocker in the Chrome browser can be a complete blocking of ad units on the site. This will be the case if the resource is abusing the “wrong” (Intrusive) types of advertising. Then it administrators will have to put everything in order before Chrome will allow you to display the advertising message.

Google refused to give any comments.
