Sequel to many faces “split” and the drama “Invincible,” under the direction and according to the scenario of handsome M. night Shyamalan soon to go into production. I like both films, so I honestly look forward to it. It should be something cool, something special.
The producer reiterates Jason bloom (“Away”, “Insidious”, “Sinister”), and recently the website Collider has published his review on the upcoming movie.
COLLIDER: What can you tell fans about “Glass”? Would you call this a superhero film?
JASON BLOOM: of Course, in a sense, this is a superhero movie, of course. I think so, Yes. This is very unusual. I would say that this is not a film from Marvel, but it’s still a superhero film.
Well, in fact, “Unbreakable” in 2000 already was “very unusual” superhero movie with a bias toward realism, Thriller and drama. The “split” in General continued in the same spirit, but came from the other side. Turned dissociative identity disorder, or rather, the plot of “Multiple minds Billy Milligan” — the fantastic story of becoming a villain.
And now heroes and villains will meet:
Immediately after the “split” starts “Glass”, which tells how David Dunn is chasing a supernatural creature named the Beast, formerly known as Kevin Wendell Crumb, and the result is a series of fights, and yet Elijah Prays masterfully orchestrates the events, staying in the shadows and having the secrets the weaknesses of both enemies.
Castes at the moment are James McAvoy and Anya Taylor-joy from the “split”, Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson from “Unbreakable”. And the company is the star of “American horror story” Sarah Paulson.
The exact launch date of the shooting is not yet known, but they say soon with a bigger budget.
Premiere of “Glass” is scheduled for January 19, 2019.
