You may remember the video game for the ancient computers about the huge ants that were trying to eat the Earth?
It was called It Came from the Desert. Originally released for PC collection Amiga, it was later ported to MS-DOS and a few consoles including the Sega Mega Drive and TurboGrafx-16. Now you know what kind of ancient is it? Yes, guys, it was a harsh 1989, and gamers entertained as they could.
Some seem nostalgic for the days for this year to be released film “It came from the desert” in explanation vinrar game, and Zone Horror bummed the first trailer of this miracle.
Be warned, the dialogue is like something out of a late nineties, but it looks quite funny, since the genre of the picture — Comedy horror.
Synopsis the original game was like this:
In the Nevada desert a meteor falls. Geologist Greg Bradley is trying to study it and detects that the radiation from the alien object makes the local ants into huge monsters. The scientist has sounded the alarm, but few take him seriously. Playing against time, Bradley needs to develop a plan to prevent the ants to destroy the world.
It’s funny that a video game inspired by the old B-movies, now she has become old and inspires filmmakers to create new films.
The author of this whole undertaking — Marco Makilala, the Director from Finland (we have today is the right day in Finnish cinema). The man known a couple of horror games, including the “War stone” in 2011. With the script he was helped by Trent Haaga (the Comedy of terrors “Cheap thrill”) and Hank Woon Jr. (mockbuster “Atlantic frontier”).
