Gorgeous. Stylish, authentic, cool, in General, once – gorgeous!
Hardly anyone will argue with the fact that Comedy in new York, Ivan “Ghostbusters” (Ghost Busters, 1984) has a direct relationship to the horror genre. I mean, Yes, it’s a COMEDY, but it’s a HORROR Comedy, it is a play (with respect to the origins of the genre, and not just banter for the sake of) many based on the horror movie and literature. Ghosts in the library, similar to the ectoplasm slime, demonic possession… As often happens, the same initial idea (a team of scientists struggles with paranormalne) could serve as a basis and Comedy, and genuine horror movie.
The guys YouTube channel and Watercooler Mashable has created a version of the trailer for “Hunters” in the genre of pure horror. The movie even called “Ghostbusters as a Slasher Flick”, I mean it is almost slasher-version – although in my opinion, the laws of the sub-genre “slasher” nothing matches and it would be more correct to call this video “Ghostbusters as a Horror Movie”.
Especially great has been stylized VHS – then you and the noise, and graininess. On the plus side the movie is and installation, and, perhaps most importantly, music. Actually it looks not only funny, but also scary.
