A gas pipeline bypassing Ukraine should start in 2019.
Russia built in its exclusive economic zone, the first string of the offshore gas pipeline “Turkish stream”.
“Pioneering Spirit, the world’s largest pipe-laying and construction vessel, marked the event, concluded in sea pipe section and with the Russian and Turkish flag, symbolizing the crossing of the lez boundary between the two countries”, – stated in the message.
In General, less than 6 months was concluded on 448 km of the pipeline is almost 25% of the offshore section.
Full operation of the pipeline will begin in December 2019.
