“Games unsubdued” (Invictus Games) in Canada, the Ukrainians have won two more medals: gold and bronze. Thus, in the moneybox of our national team for five awards.
The second gold medal at the expense of the national team of Ukraine has recorded a 28-year-old serviceman of the Ministry of defence Vasily Pashkevich from Kiev. In competitions on powerlifting in the middle weight category Pashkevich showed 1-th result by lifting 175 kg.
A 44-year veteran of the ATO Vadim Sviridenko received a bronze medal in the rowing competitions at the gym. Third place Ukrainian athlete shared with the British Lamine Maneh, which showed exactly the same result.
Just the moneybox of the national team of Ukraine until there are five medals: two gold, one silver and two bronze.
“Games of the unconquered” – the analogue of the Paralympic games for soldiers who have been wounded or illness as a result of performing duties.
