The Bureau suspects the fraud of the Bank employees.
The national anti-corruption Bureau started an investigation against employees of the State savings Bank because of the disappearance of 156,8 million dollars on the arrested accounts of the company, belonging to the Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Oleksandr Onishchenko. This was reported on the official website of the NABU.
As it is noted that in the investigation of gas business Onishchenko on account of the controlled company Quickpace Limited in Oshchadbank in may 2016 was seized. At that time, the accounts were 156,8 million and $ 218 100 hryvnia.
“As found by the detectives NAB, as of October 17, the funds disappeared from the accounts in Oschadbank”, – stated in the message.
Similar to the situation in the Bank explained that the funds were allegedly transferred to the state budget. In this regard, the detectives NAB interrogated the officials of the Bank.
During questioning, the officials did not provide any information in the confirmation of transferring these amounts to the state budget, referring to the prohibition to disclose the information.
Thus, it is unknown where and under what circumstances these funds were listed.
“As a result, the detectives NAB had registered criminal proceedings on the fact of committing an unspecified officials of the Bank’s illegal actions with the property that is seized. Pre-judicial investigation proceeds”, – added in the NABOO.
