From January 1, Japan has simplified visa regime for Ukrainian citizens

From 1 January between Japan and Ukraine on measures to simplify visa requirements for short stays for citizens of Ukraine, reports UNN with reference to the message of the Embassy of Japan in Ukraine.

“You will expand the range of applicants entitled to multiple-entry visa for short stay with business purposes, cultural and scientific figures. Also the validity of the visas will be increased from 3 to 5 years maximum. In addition to the existing single entry visas will be introduced multiple-entry visas (with a validity of 3 years and maximum period of stay of 30 days) for a short stay for various purposes including tourism. in the case of self-pay visits to the applicant will not need to provide documents from a guarantor”, – stated in the message of the Embassy.

It is noted that since the onset of the above activities is expected to improve conditions for tourists, entrepreneurs, increasing the number of citizens who return to Japan, further strengthening of interpersonal contacts.
