“The little Pompei” found in the South of France.
Unique archaeological find was discovered in the South of France, near Lyon. Here, on the banks of the Rhone, the recently unearthed ruins of an ancient Roman city.
It is unique because well preserved. Once there has been a series of severe fires, and the inhabitants fled. What is not burned, preserved under a layer of ash. So, found the village has been nicknamed “Little Pompeii”.
