President Hollande is concerned about the situation of information security before the presidential election.
French President Francois Hollande demands from law enforcement agencies strengthen security measures in the information space at the time of the election campaign in the country.
According to DW, Hollande gave the order “to provide him with specific monitoring activities and protection, including in cyberspace, which should be taken during the election campaign.”
The first round of presidential elections in France will take place on 23 April and the second on 7 may.
Earlier, the representative of election headquarters of Emmanuel Macron said that the presidential candidate of France is a target of Russian media and his campaign is faced with thousands of cyber-attacks.
