Four out of ten Russians heard nothing about the anti-corruption rallies

In Russia conducted a study that shocked with their results.

A quarter of respondents believe that the protesters are paid.

The actions of the people who came out on 26 March in mass protests against corruption, supports about a third of Russian citizens (38 percent) about the same — 39 percent — don’t approve.

This survey showed “Levada-center”, the results of which are published today, April 6.

The people of Russia came to anti-corruption rallies to Express “accumulated discontent with the state of Affairs in the country or the policy of the authorities”, according to 38 percent of respondents. Another 36 percent believe the protesters sought to Express their indignation at the corruption. A quarter of respondents (24 per cent) believes that the protesters were paid.

Held on 26 March rallies “I know” or “heard something” 61 percent of respondents. While more than a third of Russians (39 percent) said they first learned about it from the authors of the survey.

After the recent rallies recognition Bulk peaked: if in 2011 it knew 6 percent of Russians, now, more than half (55 percent). While 18 percent of respondents said that they are ready to vote for Navalny on elections of the President of Russia, of which 4 percent answered “definitely” will vote for the opposition.
