Tardigrades, type of invertebrate animals are the most hardy creatures on the planet.
Japanese and British biologists found that tardigrades (Tardigrada), considered the most tenacious creatures on Earth, much closer to the nematodes (Nematoda), but not by arthropods (Arthropoda), as previously thought. A study published in the journal PLOS Biology.
Experts have discovered that the animalcules, for example, the species R. varieornatus and H. dujardini as in nematodes there are only five classes of HOX genes, are related to the start of transcription factors. In arthropods, on the other hand, such classes, there are about ten.
Tardigrades, type of invertebrate animals are the most hardy creatures on the planet. In particular, they are capable for 20 months to carry the best in liquid oxygen at minus 193 degrees Celsius.
In 2016, scientists have suggested that the gene Dsup (damage suppressor “silencer damage”), discovered the animals can be transplanted into human cells for protection against radiation and other extreme environmental conditions.
