The pilot “Mercedes” Lewis Hamilton in Montreal, scored the third victory of the season.
At the start Hamilton has kept leadership, and on the second place broke the pilot of Red bull Max Verstappen. The Dutchman overtaking Sebastian Vettel broke the racer Ferrari front wing. The leader of the season after a few laps went on an unscheduled pit stop and dropped to last place.
On the 11th lap Verstappen due to technical problems, dropping out of the race. By the time Hamilton has created a comfortable gap from team-mate Valtteri Bottas and the top 3 was completed by Daniel ricciardo from Red bull.
While Hamilton every lap he approached the duty triumph in Montreal, Vettel returned to the top 10. 20 laps to go, the German overtook a group of riders leads the fight for the podium, but the need for another pit-stop threw him back. At the end of the race Vettel on fresh tyres with a seventh place broke in the fourth place, beating two pilots Force India.
Hamilton calmly drove to the finish line and became a six-time winner of the Grand Prix of Canada. At the circuit name Gilles Villeneuve often won only Michael Schumacher, whose seven victories.
Thanks to this success the leader of the “Mercedes” has moved significantly closer to Vettel in personal offset of the world championship, and his team through the first season victorious double back to the first line in the Cup of designers.
