“Arrivo announced that it has formed a partnership with the Department of transportation of the state of Colorado to build the highway through the city of Denver,” the statement reads. According to the publication, the new road will use the phenomenon of magnetic levitation, so it will require a special vehicle. However, unlike trains, the Hyperloop project, they will be able to ride on normal roads.
It is noted that the project is very similar to Hyperloop, who left at daylight, not hidden in the underground tunnels, “If I wanted to quickly travel between the two cities in low-pressure conditions inside the metal tube, I’d use the plane. They are very efficient, the ride is smooth orange juice free,” said Bamberger. So, Arrivo plans to build a test route on a toll road E-470, which runs from North to South along the Eastern side of Denver, past the airport.
If all goes as planned, the company will start construction in 2019 and put into operation the road will be able 2 years later. “A rapidly growing population of Colorado and a booming economy create an ideal place for the development of the system Arrivo” – said in his turn, Governor John Hickenlooper.
