Former NATO Secretary General advised the EU to defend Ukraine at any cost

Anders Fogh Rasmussen is a supporter of Ukraine.

The foreign delegation led by former Secretary General of NATO and former Prime Minister of Denmark, adviser to the President of Ukraine Anders Fogh Rasmussen became acquainted with the situation in the zone of the antiterrorist operation in the Donbas.

The delegation, consisting of European politicians and journalists, visited a number of cities in the Donetsk region, including those affected by terrorist attacks on Russian settlements. In the location of one of the brigades of the Armed forces of Ukraine the delegation members familiarized with the task, condition and position of the Ukrainian army, the press center of staff ATO.

“At a time when Ukrainian land is more than 40 000 Russian soldiers and separatists, Europe must continue to take a firm and unambiguous position in support of Ukraine”, – said Rasmussen.
