Former French President Nicolas Sarkozy will appear before the court in the case of “Pygmalion”.
“Pigmalion” we are talking about financing the election campaign of former French leader in 2012. Due to the different above Sarkozy and his party “Union for a popular movement” greatly exceeded the maximum limit of funds that were allocated to the company.
As has established a consequence, instead of €22.5 million was invested at least €40 million, a Significant part of this operation was carried out using an advertising firm “Pygmalion”.
Earlier, ex-interior Minister of France and former chief of staff of Nicolas Sarkozy, was sentenced to two years imprisonment.
