The authoritative American edition of Forbes advises its readers to plan a trip not in Paris, and in the capital of Ukraine – Kiev.
“When it comes to historical European cities, come to mind places such as Rome, Paris, Prague and Vienna. However, if you want to visit a city with spectacular architecture, magnificent churches, bustling markets and charming cobblestone streets with fewer tourists, you should really consider this option as Kiev – the capital of colorful Ukraine. For comparison, last year in Kiev was visited by 1.6 million people, 83 million tourists in Paris. Traveler must understand that the fewer visitors to the city, the more accessible attractions, transport, and delicious inexpensive food,” writes the author of the column Wound hood.

From Ukrainian cuisine Wound Gud advises to try the borscht and cabbage rolls. In addition, the author recommends to pay attention to a lot of Georgian restaurants in Kiev and to order khinkali.
