For the first time in 64 years: scientists have discovered a rare boa. Video

Boa Cropani belongs to the family lomonova snakes.

For the first time in 64 years, scientists were able to see Cropani boa (Corallus cropanii), one of the rarest snakes in the world that lives in Brazil.

Female the boa constrictor, weighing 1.5 kg and a length of 1.7 meters scientists sold two farmers from Miracatu.

As reported by Live Science, last time boa was seen in 1953. Some scholars even considered this species extinct. Boa Cropani belongs to the family lomonova snakes.
