Independent developer Abe Fettig launched a campaign to raise funds to develop iOS applications in a matter of seconds to digitize the negatives with your smartphone.
The programmer found a way to simplify the time-consuming process to a couple clicks on the iPhone screen.
Users simply put the tape on the illuminated surface and bring it to the camera of the gadget. FilmLab will automatically analyze the contents of the frame and turn film negatives into digital positives. The digitization process takes a few seconds.
The final result, of course, will depend on the iPhone camera. In addition, the user will still get the image not such good quality as in the full scanning of the film.

Digitization remains one of the most time-consuming tasks when it comes to film photography, and the ease with which this development solves the problem, suggests that the application has all chances to change the rules of the game in the market.
