First look at “the Muse” Jaume Balaguero

As you know, the good horror movies are rented not only in English-speaking countries. Among the European manufacturers of fans of the genre’s most respected Spain, France and Italy – there really is, including in the Director’s chair. For example, the Catalan Jaume Balaguero, the Creator of the original “Story” and the horror flick “Darkness” and “sleep”. This guy knows what fear is; knows how to work with him. And soon he will release a new movie.

It will be a supernatural horror, adaptation of the novel by Jose Carlos Somoza “the Lady number thirteen” (La dama número trece). We have book was not published, but the readers can know the author’s sci-Fi Thriller “Zigzag”. The film was called “the Muse” (Musa), over his script, Balaguero worked with Fernando Navarrothat much experience yet, and has not known except that at home.

In February in the Internet appeared a video, dedicated to “the Muse”. About the film is the Director himself, the audience present there, involved actors, glimpses of exclusive footage. In General, the video can be viewed below. Cautiously, foreign language!

Kast got a good, international. First of all, draw the attention of Frank Potente (“creep”, “the Conjuring 2”) and Christopher Lloyd , the beloved “Doc brown” from the trilogy “Back to the future” (although the territory of the dark cinema he wandered, take the same “Piranha 3D” or a sequel to “sin City”). The synopsis of the film sounds pretty damn intriguing:

Literature Professor Samuel Salomon a year ago, left work after the tragic death of a friend. He suffers from a recurring nightmare in which he sees a woman, brutally kill at a strange ritual. Suddenly the same woman who appears every night in his dreams, is found dead under the same circumstances. Samuel sneaks into the crime scene and there meets Rachel, which also had it’s murder. Trying to do everything possible to unravel the identity of a mysterious woman they get in a scary world, run by figures, inspiring artists for centuries — Muse.

The film was shot in Spain, Ireland and Belgium, all in all, Balaguero and the company took nine weeks. Thanks to the colleagues from Bloody-Disgusting we got the first official shots of “Muse”. And today on the website of the Spanish broadcaster RTVE premiered the teaser picture. Came out dark and atmospheric. Check it out.

The world premiere of “Muse” is scheduled for December 1, 2017. Offer to wait together.
